Dr. Richard Kates graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles in 1997 earning a doctorate of chiropractic. Prior to attending chiropractic school, he recieved a bachelor of science degree from Northern Illinois University. He has been practicing in Carrollton Kentucky for the past seven years. Since graduation, Dr. Kates has had post graduate education on numerous topics such as: nutritional wellness, spinal disc repair and rehabilitation and occupational(work) safety.

Dr. Kates consults with numerous local organizations and industries concerning safety and wellness issues. He lives in Carrollton Kentucky with his wife and four sons.
